Dignified restraint in sacred spaces—an integrative guidance system and corporate design that respectfully leads visitors through the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For the UNESCO World Heritage Site St. Mary's Cathedral in Hildesheim, the studio conceived and planned the comprehensive orientation and guidance system for both interior and exterior areas. In addition to the purely functional route guidance within the historically sensitive sacred space, nowakteufelknyrim also developed the cathedral's official logotype. The system is characterized by respectful restraint toward the architecture, guiding visitors and pilgrims alike with dignity through the historic ensemble.
