A museum park brings the world of the former Roman fort to life through archaeological finds, digital journeys through time, and fascinating insights into the past.
The museum park vividly documents the historical situation of the former Roman fort, with spectacular archaeological finds on site and scientifically reconstructed images bringing the exhibits to life. A virtual telescope in the outdoor area, the so-called Time Scope (concept: nowakteufelknyrim, rendering: Jörg Brüggemann), allows visitors to view the past of the Roman fort using digital simulation. The design of the information elements was adapted to the special conditions in the outdoor area: robust surfaces and mechanics combined with a special printing process withstand UV radiation, moisture, temperature fluctuations and vandalism.
