The wayfinding and orientation system guides visitors intuitively through complex content, using innovative, transparent screens and accessible signage.
As part of a high-profile competition for the entire Deutsches Museum in Munich, nowakteufelknyrim impressed with a visionary master design for the new wayfinding and orientation system, securing an outstanding 2nd place. In addition to the interior architecture and scenographic exhibition concepts that nowakteufelknyrim had already designed for the Deutsches Museum, (see: Deutsches Museum München), information design also played a pivotal role in the wayfinding and orientation system. To optimize communication throughout the entire museum, an innovative and intuitive system was developed. Visitors are guided accessibly through the exhibition via interactive, transparent screens and clear signage, enabling a clear and comprehensible presentation of complex technical content.
