What does the future of the city look like?
The exhibition „City Wants!“ does not provide any answers, but it does offer initial ideas and approaches as to how and with what means the increasing densification of the metropolises can be made liveable. A large exhibition architecture separates the present from the future, with the current situation on one side and questions about the future on the other. Part of the wall is made up of rotating panels that invite visitors to take a look behind the scenes: Each panel reveals one of the 20 theses that the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia has put forward in order to motivate the protagonists of construction – builders, architects, investors, citizens and many more – to think and act: Everyone wants to live!
